    E30 Differential LSD Side Seals

Hey guys, I'm rebuilding my LSD (new seals, new clutches, etc) and I can't figure out the best way to push out the side axle seals.

    They look like this:

And they're metal reinforced rubber seals. What's the best way to push them out?

You can use a hook type seal puller or just pry the old seals out with a screwdriver.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

For anyone pressing seals out in the future, I used a flat head screw driver and a hammer. See what way the seal would go in/out, and hammer it out, going all around the sides.

To push a new reinforced seal in, use a large (I used a 32 mm) socket and hammer on the back of it to evenly press the seal in.
