    ETA Transmission swap

I need some help! i wrecked my 86 325e but the engine and tranny still run and are in good condition. I would like to buy another eta maybe w/ engine issues because I dont have a lot of money, and i would put my engine and tranny in it. Unfortunately its hard to find a clean one at the price so Im wondering what about buying an automatic car and putting my engine and tranny into it. Would the swap be fairly easy like mostly bolt in stuff, or would it require a lot of extra parts and modification? Please help me out!

The odds are that your wrecked car has everything that is needed for the swap. Only if something was damaged in the collision would there be a problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Like jlevie mentioned your wrecked car is the perfect donor, depending on how much damage and what's damaged. I was also thinking that wiring up Cruise control might be a pain, the switches at the shifter and running wires or modifying wiring.
