M20 driveline rubbing

    M20 driveline rubbing

    Hey guys having a few problems here so I went to take my subframe out today to put akg bushings in and noticed the driveline has rubbed not only through the subframe but into my gas tank kinda worried its going to go through has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do?

    Also is the gas tank truly divided just in case it does go through...keep in mind my car is low and I drift it so I know thats the reason

        There should be no way for the drive shaft to rub the subframe or the tank. That would imply a problem with the differential mount, subframe, CSB, or engine/transmission mounts. Lowering the car has nothing to do with this.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
