s52, Getrag 260, I need that thing that goes between the two!

In preparation for my s52 swap I have been trying to find a clutch setup. I will be using the getrag 260. From what I have read you want to use the getrag Flywheel, PP, and disc correct?

If that info is true then I am going to resurface my existing flywheel that has been machined down to around 14lbs.

I have been looking into the spec stage 2 and I have been hearing things about the F1 clutchs as well. What torque rating should I go with as well? Thoughts and recommendations, car is semi daily but definitely beat on. Thanks guys!

I have the F1 stage 2 with an m20 lightened to about 14lbs. with a 240 getrag on my S52 conversion. I have been driving with it for about 7 months now and don't like it too much, it is grabby at times, just a little heavier than stock. I am changing over in the spring to a stock e36 m3 clutch, a stock dual mass when I put in my 6 speed. The light flywheel is not great with A/C which a must down here and I think the dual mass will make the engine feel a little smoother. The F1 clutch is also a little weak for the s52. I think your 260 bell housing is large enough for the M3 clutch why not go with that it's bound to be better as it's designed for the power.

I'm trying to save some money if the m20 line of clutches work. I will look into m3 options but I don't want to buy a light flywheel as they are expensive

You have the S52 engine; where is the clutch that came with it?
The OEM s52 clutch it works great with G260 gearbox. Plug and play; use the Original S52 starter as well.
Cost less than buying anything if you have a good one already. Holds enough power for S54b32

          You will use:

G260 pilot bearing; it directly installs
          G260 Throw out bearing
          G260 shift fork
          G260 slave cylinder

          S52 flywheel and bolts
S52 pressure plate and clutch kit

the S52 clutch is perfect for the S52 engine as designed by BMW.
          OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25
