Transmission fit question

I have a 1990 325is with stock m20in bad need of a new manual transmission. I saw an advert for a g260 off a mid-80s euro 323i. Does anyone know if it will fit without modification? If not, what will I need to do?

The transmission will fit fine, though you might have to change to output flange and you will need to use parts 25112225369, 25112225344, & 07119904295 to attach the forward end of the shifter.

Thanks. Not knowing anything about the transmission, what are the differences between a euro 323i transmission and the standard g260 that was in my 325is?
