m10 getrag 240 shift linkage length?

I need some help here.

I just would like to know if any of the shift linkages are the same length as the one in the M10 powered e30's running a Getrag 240?

Even if they are slightly longer that would help a bit too, as I'm looking to pick up a DSSR and I'm not sure which would be the best.

I must also add that I have a sort of home brew DTM chassis mounted shifter using an early model shift carrier modified and mounted to the trans tunnel.

The selector rod is the same between the M10 E21 and E30 but nothing else.

I'm more curious to know if the m20 getrag 260 linkage is longer, and how much? I assume it should be straight like the m10 one.
