Is there anything in the five speed swap wiring that could effect the cars idle

Any ideas because my icv doesn't seem to work judging that the car only idles with it unplugged. It definitely worked a year ago last time I ran it before the swap(the car sat for a year before I started work) -
Nothing in the auto to 5 speed wiring changes should affect the ICV.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
