auto park/neutral safety switch

How does the auto park/neutral safety switch work?

Is it replaceable?

I cant start my e30 in the parked position, only neutral in neutral will it start.

help a brother out. lol

The switches for park & neutral are all in one part, and it can be replaced.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
