91 318i transmission G260?

A guy replied to my CL ad for a 5 speed e30 swap and running m20.. he bought a 318 with a fried motor.. he wants to swap it.

thing is he wants my transmission too.. but doesnt want the pedals/shifter/etc.. I wanted to sell the swap as a whole kit.

Doesnt the 91 318 come with a G260 trans anyway? He might not even need my transmission

No, the 1991 318i/iS has the 240 transmission.

He will need your shifter setup and driveshaft too. The 318 parts won't work.

cool yeah i figured he would at least need the shaft. I lost my flywheel.. is that the same? or at least will it work behind an m20?

And the starter from an M42 will work in the M20?
