Hello, I have been looking around for transmission coversions for my 86 325e , and i had came across a 318I trans, does anyone know if that will be a bolt right up fit??? Aslo let me know if you have a 325e trans that you would like to sell, plus the other parts>Thanks

The 318 transmission is not the same unit as the 325, probably won't bolt right up, and isn't built for the same application. Even if it did fit, I would worry about it being sufficient whenever I drove. Probably wouldn't fail, but the 325 units aren't super hard to find.
Speaking of, I have an '86 eS parts car here with a 5 speed, but won't be able to get at it until the weather improves.
