    did I get burned?

    seller claims is 373 lsd
when i turn the input shaft the outut shafts turn in OPPOSITE direction, i opened it up and it appears to be lsd what can cause this?
Maybe he removed the clutch pack?

should i be able to see something in here:

I thought LSD are supposed to turn in opposite directions when you turn the input shaft

yes... in a nut shell, the limited slip part comes from the clutches pressing against the friction plates and the ramp angle on the diff itself..

If it goes in same direction and if doesn't break loose It sounds as thou it might be welded.

no i was saying the seperate diff in my other car that has lsd the wheels move in the same direction

on the diff in question the move in opposite directions
the diff appears to be an lsd and it has the s on the case

It could be a limited slip differential with work out clutches. In which case the output shafts may turn in opposite directions.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
