Tranny problems/question

OK, first of all sometimes when i put the car in first, i start to roll foward, and it pops outta gear. Also when up shifting it feals really notchy as if im banging/ grinding gears. What do you think the problem is? Low fluid level? if so on what side of the tranny is the fill plug? Someone please help.

I know that the fill plug is on the passenger side. Don't know what else the problem would be so I hope it's your fluid. Too much drifting? :)

Lol, I'm gonna top it off. Anyone know how much it is to rebuild a tranny? Anyone else wanna chime in?

figure $1200-1500 for a complete rebuild.

or $200 for a good used one.

You can try putting more spring tention on the detent balls, that sometimes will work for awhile.
