    Problem bleeding my clutch!

    I have a 1990 e30 sedan
I just ran into a problem. I recently got my car started after doing a motor swap(put in a m20 with lower miles), and a 5-speed swap. I just finally installed the slave cylinder, clutch line, and finished up everything else. So all I have to do now, is bleed my clutch and brakes. I found a pretty cool way to bleed the system, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here is how I'm trying to do it.

As I connect the hose from the oil can to the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder, I start pumping but there are no air bubbles coming out of the brake reservoir at all! There's actually nothing coming out. What might I be doing wrong? It seems like the brake fluid stops when it reaches the bleeder screw at the slave cylinder. Any ideas/tips? Maybe I should just bleed it a different way?

You could have a plugged bleeder or a collapsed soft line that is blocking the flow of fluid.

A BMW clutch will self bleed if the master cylinder is good. Just grab the pedal and pump it 75-100 times.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

So if I plugged my bleeder, how do I unplug it? I bought it brand new from auto zone 2 days ago.
And how do I uncollapse my lines?

And when I press my clutch and look into the brake reservoir, there is nothing happening. No bubbles or anything.

If it is a collapsed line, it will have to be replaced. You can check for a blocked bleeder by opening it and seeing if fluid comes out when a helper presses the pedal. close the bleeder before the pedal is released.

Watch the video. I don't need a helper.
