I have a 1990 e30 sedan
I just ran into a problem. I recently got my car started after doing a motor swap(put in a m20 with lower miles), and a 5-speed swap. I just finally installed the slave cylinder, clutch line, and finished up everything else. So all I have to do now, is bleed my clutch and brakes. I found a pretty cool way to bleed the system, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here is how I'm trying to do it.
As I connect the hose from the oil can to the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder, I start pumping but there are no air bubbles coming out of the brake reservoir at all! There's actually nothing coming out. What might I be doing wrong? It seems like the brake fluid stops when it reaches the bleeder screw at the slave cylinder. Any ideas/tips? Maybe I should just bleed it a different way?
