will a (e30 m3 s14 getrag265) fit into my (e30 325e m20b27 getrag 260)?

Hmm, from what I know- that tranny can be installed in an M20 powered E30- but you'll need the removeable bellhousing from an early E28 528e to make it work. That tranny should have a removeable bellhousing in the M3, but the S14 and the M20 have different patterns- so you use the 528e bellhousing with the gearbox from the M3 and it should work. The 528e bellhousing should also have the 2 sensor holes you'll need for the 325e crank + ref sensors. I believe the only cars that have this bellhousing are the '82 + 83 528e 5 speeds- they might be a bit hard to find.........
