    Name that shifter

    Alright so was digging threw the trunk on my new to me 87 325is. I have a reverse issue that I think I have figured out. Anyways found these in the trunk.



    So one was labeled an 87 325is the other is unknown. I put the ball on the bottom lined up together. Any idea was the top one is?
    1987 325is- $700 project car
    1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula - Bolt ons,cam, 6 speed of fun.

    Doesn't look like the newer style BMW shifters that most people use for the SSK.

    Possibly from an E28 or something?!
