Help needed! Late g260 on a super eta?

    Will it work?

    I have a 1988 325 (late eta/super-eta) with a bad 2nd gear syncro.

Now will a g260 from an 89 325i bolt up to my car and work?

I looked throught the trans thread but didnt see anything that would help me. Both transmissions have the same specs it seems like so im guessing it would work but not 100% sure.

Also, I have no idea about the dual mass/single mass flywheel.

If I get a late model trans should I use the flywheel it comes with, or re-use my super eta one.

    Thanks for any help!!

The transmission should bolt right up.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks for the reply. So it bolts up but what about the sensors/throw out bearing/flywheel?

You can use either the dual mass flywheel of the SETA and clutch or the single mass flywheel & clutch from a M20B25. There are no sensors involved in the swap.
