    Revshift diff bushing size

So I'm about to replace the rear diff bushing with a revshift 80a unit but it seems to me the oem bolt is a lot thinner than the mount hole present in the new bushing while it fits snuggly into the oem bushing, i've emailed revshift about it and they still havent responded, is the new bushing defective?

Just happen to have my finned cover and one of their 95A bushes sitting here, one over the top of the other and guess what? just by eye the hole is probably 3mm bigger. Looks like they used the wrong sized crush tube.

Good thing you picked this up as I would be super pissed if I found out when installing the new subframe.
Just a little project im working on

so would you just put a sleeve in there to take up the difference?

hmm, revshift did just get back to me saying that this gap was fine (i emailed them this exact picture)

EDIT* just measured mine, gap is only 4mm, maybe it isn't so bad after all

            here's revshift's exact response

"Yes, it is perfectly fine. The subframe is what puts the differential where it needs to be. We have been making the diff bushings like this for years and it works very well. There is no need to worry about the gap. Once you install it on the car you will realize that it works very nicely."

Not really that happy with the reply though to be honest. If you buy a finned cover for your E30 they will usually warn you to press the bush out because the hole is slotted to suit the Z3 setup. Id rather it still had a tight fit so there was no chance of movement in there.
