So im in the process of doing an Auto to manual Swap i already have every thing out and disconnected and here's where things start getting interesting. i order all of my parts for my swap for a single mass flywheel. i have a fellow that will allow me get all of the hard parts: flywheel drive shaft pedals and tranny housing. for $300 with me trading him my auto bell-housing. so ive basically been waiting since December to get the hard parts " to good to be true".
so my friend offered me everything i need to do the swap from his car since he's getting a new car, in exchange for all of the parts from my car to swap his to auto for his sister. what i need to know is, how would i go about doing the auto swap since his car doesn't have a neutral safety switch im not worried about hard parts for his car since i have them all but i am worried more about the electrical. what parts will he need. i was plain on just snipping the wiring on my NSS and just straight wire to avoid swapping ecus
advice is greatly needed. my car 04/1986 325e & his is a 03/1986 325e his car has the weird vibration damper guibo on it over the flex disc, do i need the vibration damper or can i just trash it? Thanx
