325i 89 Single Mass M20B25

So the single mass I have is 31.5mm thick. Been trying to find a replacement that's thicker than 32mm but everybody's is less.
Bentley says should be >32mm but does it really have to be? Will it shudder if I resurface mine? The last guy that I was talking to said his was 30mm.

BTW, anyone know the thickness of a new one?

Don't people buy lightweight flywheels or resurface and lighten old ones.
