Does anyone know if the 5 speed out of a 89 318is will bolt to my 91 M20? Trying to convert to standard and this is all that's available in my area. Thanks.

It could be used, but won't be a good fit. Will sit at a 10 degree angle, and would need a longer driveshaft than the M20 has. Have someone ship you a 260 transmission will be much easier. -

There was no 88 318is at least not here In the States, but either way the 4cyl trans is not what you want anyway, as others have said find a g260 out of a 325Shawn @ Bimmerbuddies
