general question

Say one is looking to convert his car to a manual transmission

would a 318is manuel gear box aNd everything fit onto a 325i ?

Would the different engines be a problem or no?

Because someones selling a beat up 318is that i could pull the parts out of.

That is simply the wrong transmission for the car. Pass on that and look for a Getrag 260 out of a 325.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
