    MY SET UP

    1988 325I CONVERTIBLE

    M20B25
    HOLSET HX35W
    15PSI
    36LB R/C INJECTORS
    FMU

SO I FINALLY TUNED THE CAR AND IT RUNS GREAT, ABOUT A YEAR AGO I BOUGHT THE EBAY F1 STAGE 2 RACE CLUCTH, ITS HORSEPOWER RATING IS 260, I ORIGINALLY DID NOT PLAN TO TURNO THE CAR AND THAT WHY I NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING STRONGER,

YESTERDAY I HIT 15[SI AND BLEW THE CLUTCH OUT, THE GUY WHO DID THE TUNE RUNS A DYNO SHOT FOR A LIVING AND SAYS IM DEFFINITLY AROUND 350HP, SO I WAS LOOKING AT BUY THE CLUCTH, I WAS JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ANYTHING GOOD OR BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS CLUTCH I WANNA PURCHASE OFF EBAY, I NEVER HAD A ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY, ME AND A COUPLE FRIENDS HAVE A HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THEM

    HOWEVER

THIS CLUCTH IS A F1 STAGE 4 AND ITS ONLY 174.99, SEEMS KINDA CHEAP, MY BUDGET NEEDS TO BE UNDER 300 BUCKS,

With that much available power I would think that you need a Stage 3 clutch at a minimum. A Stage 3+ or Stage 4 from http://www.specclutch.com/products would be the better choice.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Then your barking up the wrong tree. I wouldn't even recommend the SPEC's, but to each their own.

I've seen my fair share of busted limiting straps and diaphragm springs on the F1's. The disk isn't terrible (if the splines are within tolerance).

Well, to play you have to pay. You could put in a cheap clutch, but with that much power available it won't last long. After a couple of cheap clutches you will have spent as much a what you should have bought in the first place.

But there is another option. Lock down the boost to a few psi (and re-tune for that).

if there is no budget for a high quality clutch like: spec, JB racing etc

then an OEM junkyard solution may be your best bet-

M20 and G260 share the dna of mounting and splines as many other newer BMW's; so you can replace the smaller 228mm with a bigger 240mm. Any 24v clutch from M50-s54 family will bolt right up to the M20 with a 24v starter. M52/s52 starters are the easiest to install/remove and modern and cheap.

the cheapest/most common and easily upgraded turbo clutch setup is S52b32 OEM BMW e36 1996-1999 M3. Everyone uses these to 350rwhp happily and some close to 400 before killing the oem clutch and going to a stage 2-3. I have driven a Stock E30 325i Touring wagon with m20b25+g260 and S52b32 oem dual mass flywheel and clutch in third world country traffic. It is very street-able and also does track work just fine.

clutch and flywheel from a e36 M3 or Z3m S52 will bolt into the place of the M20 unit and those are 240mm; more modern pressure plate design and known to handle around 350rwhp out of the box; I used this setup with a S54b32 tuned to 310rwhp / 8400rpms.

a E46 M3 clutch and dual mass can also be used with a E36M friction disc for the smaller imput 10 spline gearbox of G260; the E46 M3 is 333hp in usa, 343BHP in europe/355BHP for CSL version

I used a 335i twin turbo OEM clutch on my E30 (photo gallery buid link in sig) with a 6 speed gearbox - IIRC this pressure plate can bolt up to the M54b30 dual mass 240mm flywheel from a e46 330i or z4 3.0.

              for a g260 you could:

              M54b30 dual mass flywheel+ 5 speed friction disc from e46 330i 5 speed or S52b32 friction disc
              +
335i or 135i pressure plate from Twin Turbo 135i or 335i (newer N54b30 engine)

              should handle 400rwhp.

The E90/92 BMW OEM 335i twin turbo clutch has been proven to about 470rwhp in so-cal; This means about 400rwhp in european dynos and perhaps 500rwhp in texas or florida dynos.
