    help about M20 flywheel

    hey there
my 325i clutch is getting really bad as i have a repolished flywheel and pressure plate

so tomorrow am going to search for a used complete used clutch assembly

    on budget :(

i found some but i am not sure how many time they were reused

so my question is whats the thickness of the oem flywheel and pressure plate ?

and what is the okay thickness that i can use ?
i want to instal the XTR 6-PUCK CLUTCH with this setup

or how can i know how good they are ?

does the 320 325 fly wheel differ ?

    help is appreciated
    suggestions are welcomed :)

there are at least 3-4 different flywheels and probably more different clutches between all the models, so what your asking cant really be answered

Some flywheels are duel mass which i would stay away from is all i can add.

The odds are that you don't need another flywheel, but it does have to have the right profile. From memory the friction surface of the flywheel must be 0.01" above the mounting plane of the pressure plate. If that isn't the case a good machine shop can resurface the flywheel.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
