So this is my first post, but the forums are great and have helped me out a lot so far while working on my car. But I don't think too many people have had what just happened to me today.
So I was driving to a friend's house where there's a big hill on his street, downshift for going down it. Once I start to coast, even in neutral, some kind of grinding sound is happening, look under the car finally figure out that 2 out of the 4 bolts holding up the diff, the best way i can describe it is like a rear type of k member, don't really know what it's called.
So I spent the last 2 hours trying to get the threads on the differential to line back up with the holes on this member, finally gave up and called a tow truck.
Don't know if anybody else has had this problem but if so help please!!
