I just noticed that when I've just barely disengaged my clutch when going from idle to first gear it makes a noise which sounds halfway between belt squeal and grinding. It's not very loud but definitely noticeable whenever I put it into gear. There's maybe a half inch or so of travel from the pedal's normal position that it makes the noise but goes away as soon as the clutch is pressed further down. If I feather it just right the noise stays constant. Is this an early sign of throwout bearing failure or is there something else I can check? It didn't making this noise before I tore into it for the TB/WP/valve adjust, but I don't know how the two could possibly be related.
