    Transmission weird build up

How is going guys? I am in the process of swapping in a G260 5 speed into my car and was cleaning my transmission, i noticed there was this funky build up that i couldnt remove. If anyone could give me some insight on how to remove it id really appreciate it. I want the transmission to be as good a possible, preferably like this.

Here is what im dealing with!

I not sure what that is, but I know that bead blasting is the only practical way of removing it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

bead blasting would be the best and easier way. another option would be a wire brush and a wire wheel on a drill. That trans you posted looks to have been painted.

It's a old ass Trans and the important part is INTERNAL; I doubt the op actually understands how to service a transmission internally; nobody on r3v does besides the guys working at gearbox shops.

For external just shove into your car; the bmw dealer can't tell if the transmission is not shiny externally; a externally clean g260 will still leak and shift crappy
