    Can you take out tranny without pulling out the engine?

    Hey guys, so i need to take out the tranny, but i dont have the equipment to pull out the engine with the tranny together. So i tried to take it out, but so far i dont see the way how i can do it, is it possible?

    Yes, the transmission will come out separately.

      Yes im working on mine right now only one bolt left but i got to go and buy some better extension this is a run on sentence if ive ever hear one.

        I've pulled a 5 spd from eta. The cylinder head stopped the motor from tipping out backwards. Tilting all the way back helped with bolt removal.

          Buy service manual and follow instructions. Too difficult?

          A giant 12ft extension is needed to remove transmission


          Or does buying a service manual offend cheap r3vers? Doing things correct often offends r3vtards
