    differential drain and fill

my sisters differential is leaking(according to my dad)...i havent seen any leaks from ehr differential but it is a little moist around her housing, i tightenb every bolt around it but just to be safe...how can i check the fluid level in the differential? if the only way is to just drian it n fill it what are the drain and fill plugs?...i took a look and im assuming its the big ass bolts in the rear that requires allen heads to remove, if so, what are the sizes needed and what is the correct procedure to do this and how many quarts/liters of fluid would i need? i have already purchased one bottle of 75w-90 valvoline gear lube, if i need a diferent viscosity or u reocomend another please let me know...this car is a 1986 325

10mm allen for the drain plug/filler plug, make sure you clean the crud out of the recess so you can seat the allen all the way, they can be tight and if you don't seat it all the way you'll strip it! just fill it until it runns out of the top hole, it's about 2 pints (two containers of gear oil)
