    Clutch master cylinder

Okay, now that I fixed my suspension problem and my clunk, I went out for a ride. As I was exiting the highway I heard a crunch as I pressed the clutch in. I found out that my clutch master cylinder rod snapped. I just got the car towed home (Allstate motor club free towing FTW) and will be replacing it asap. I wanted to know why it snapped, and if it was likely that it would happen again.

    Thanks everyone

Perhaps the piston "cocked" in the unit and refused to travel when pressure was applied to the rod. Just a guess, won't know till you remove it and report.
