    medium case e28 diff questions

I am about to purchase a e28 medium case 3.25 lsd diff for my s52 swapped e36 318Ti and have a few questions. are the output flanges from a e28 528e medium case diff gonna be bolt up to e30 axles? also i am gonna need a e30 diff cover and my friend has an open diff i could have. will the open diff cover work on an LSD diff. Thanks

You will need E30 medium case output flanges and diff cover to install on the E28 diff, does not matter if the E30 diff cover is from an lsd unit or not.

Can I use the output flanges from the open diff as well?

you need the e30 flanges and CV axels as the Ti has weird tiny stuff for 4 cylinder e36 that is non-interchange with e30 parts.

there is some detailed info on the e36 Ti forums on this; R3v is mostly E30 tech.
