    transmission for m10?

    what transmission to use with the m10b18 engine out of a 84-85 318i, i am doing a manual swap.......help plz

            You can also use any m30 Getrag that bolted up. So that would be a 5, 6, or 7 series 260 or 265. They are physically larger than the 240 though. Not sure about the transmission tunnel. They are longer than the 240 too (so I hear).
