The ring with the hex hole in it looks like the lock ring for the output flange nut. The other part looks like it might be the driveshaft centering sleeve.

should i replace these parts or just stick them back in when putting the center shaft back on? which way does the hex ring face the output flange? and how do i put this centering sleep on?
The lock ring is driven in to the output flange with the hex section going in first. The sleeve is pressed into the end of the front drive shaft section. Use new parts.
