    2.93 lsd swap recommendations

Ok so just the other day I scored and picked up a 2.93 LSD for $20, so seeing as I got it so low I thought I'd clean it up and replace the side seals and oil. I was wondering what do you guys use to clean your diff ?(exterior) and what kind of oil is best recommended for the 2.93 lsd ? and how much would I need to buy ? also would you recommend Timken seals ? Thanks ahead !

Redline 75w90 would be the best lube. To clean up a differential I bead blast it. OE seals are hard to beat.

Although I'm not able to get ahold of a bead blaster, any chemicals that are safe to use on it?

Scrub it down first with mineral spirits and then with detergent and water. The aluminum rear cover will still be discolored, but it will be clean.
