    Question about finned diff cover

I just bought a finned diff cover kit for the E30 and realized after installing that the included hardware did not include any washers for the cover bolts. Should I be using washers? My old diff cover had washers but I have no idea if they were original or necessary. Thx-

Realoem shows them in the picture but doesn't list a p/n for them. Its probably a good idea to use them as the cover is aluminum and the washers prevent the bolt heads from digging in while tightening them. If you've already bolted it on without the washers I probably wouldn't worry about it.

Thx for the reply- I ended up mounting the washers just for peace of mind.
