210 miles per gallon is different from 210 miles per tank.
If you got 210 MPG you'd be getting over 2000 miles in a tank.

I don't think 210 miles per tank is very good.
that would make it about 15 miles per gallon.
i think? i'm not sure how big the later tanks are, i have an early model with the small tank.

Thanks for all the replies and opinions. I'm definately sticking with the 4.10 as Its not my daily and I don't care about mpg much, it's just a fun little project car. My '10 X5m doesn't have good gas mileage either lol

Oh and I'm sure it's been posted somewhere many times before but do I have to swap out my auto radiator for a manual one? Are there differences between the two?

You can still use the auto trans radiator. Auto trans radiators typically have extra passages for the auto trans fluid to get cooling in addition to the coolant so they cool both the engine and the trans whereas a manual trans radiator just cools the coolant. Some vehicles even use a small auxillary trans fluid cooler in addition to the auto trans fluid that runs through the radiator. An example of this might be a vehicle used for towing where the auto trans gets some extra abuse.

When you disconnect the trans fluid lines to the radiator the fluid will drip out for some time. You can leave the fittings open or put a cap on them if you like.
