    Driveshift splines worn out?

So I have a loud metallic clacking. While I had my car up in the air last night working on some other shit I tried to track it down. The car has always had it. The CSB and the U-joint in the rear sounds find but the sound it definitely the rear driveshaft section clacking. My guess is the splines are worn enough to cause a bit of play in the rear section. Anyone else encounter this? I tried searching and didnt see any other useful info.

Never seen (or heard of) anything like that.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

When you say that the CSB and rear u-joint 'sound fine'. Are you actually inspecting them visually or are you somehow going by ear?

Make sure #11 is pretty snug.
