open diff and LSD interchangeable internals?

I have an e28 open diff 2.93 and an e30 3.73 lsd can I swap the LSD internals into the open diff to make an 2.93 lsd ? This is for my M50 swap and I need a lower ratio diff. Or should I not bother and live with the open diff?
Also what are the torque for the gear ring bolts?

I don't know if you could swap internals, but I do know that part of the work in such a swap would be re-shimming the pinion to ring gear clearances. You can't just take parts off one and use them in the other.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

no, the carrier size is different on the 2.93 versus that of the 3.73.

they are both medium case diffs so why wouldn't you be able to swap the ring and pinion?

          Lsd

A different carrier is used for 2.93 gears than 3.73. You can swap 3.25 and 3.73 carriers, but 2.93 and below are different.
