    Clutch problems from sitting?

For a little background: I parked my functioning m20b25 / g260 with an 8,000 mile old clutch about a year ago. I swapped the whole drivetrain into my new car without taking anything apart. I also at that time replaced the slave.

Now that it's in the new car:

My clutch pedal is unusually stiff and the clutch is not fully disengaging. It doesn't want to go into gear. The car sat for a year and the clutch had rusted to the flywheel, which i freed up by driving the car with the clutch pedal depressed. The slave is new and has been bled properly to my knowledge (the pedal returns well). Any insight?

    Thanks,

    Blake
