5 speed swap help!!!

In the middle of a 5 speed swap and it won't let me go into R 1,3 or 6 but it'll go to 2 and 4???? Also my clutch won't engage when I step on the peddle bleed the line frm the slave to the reservoir

My guess is that you have the shifter 180 degrees out. As to the clutch, the hydraulics may not be working or you did not install the correct clutch parts or incorrectly assembled it.

i do not have the shifter 180 out its pretty basic to install that.. and for the clutch everything seems to be installed correctly its all 325i parts

bleed more...... mine swap SUCKED to bleed. try removing slave from trans and pointing the bleeder up...

If the front of the car is jacked up and the bleeder screw is at the back end, you won't be able to bleed the slave because the bleeder screw is not the high point of the system.

Push some clear vinyl tubing onto the slave bleeder screw and run it up at least as high as the reservoir. Put the front end of the car on the ground and maybe even jack up the rear end. Let it sit overnight. Tighten down the bleeder screw, then pinch the tube and remove. Dump the fluid in the tube into your waste brake fluid bucket. It *should* work at that point.
