    Long term ebay clutch usage

Who here has had an ebay clutch over a long period of time? Im talking about those FX, XTR stage one two and three clutch kits. From what I've read they are labeled Sachs clutches still. Looking to get a stage two FX clutch kit as my throwout bearing is on the fritz and I might as well replace everything while I'm in there. I'm not sure if I would trust the TOB and pilot bearing that the kit includes though. I put a lot of miles on my e30 and I'm curious to see how many people have had them hold up over a long period of time.

Im running a Gripforce Stage 2 (Same thing) in my S50 Swapped car. Have been for 20,000 Miles now. I do beat on my car every once in awhile.

Whilst theres no signs of it Wearing out, I do regret not getting a stock replacement one. Engagement is Sudden, Small working range. Stiff. Really just a Manly feeling clutch. Overkill because I doubt my car will ever see Boost . Ive gotton used to it.

Will replace with a stock one when it wears out. I bought a Sachs TOB because people say the one in there only lasts 15k.

Interesting, I'm getting the stage 2 just because I know my car will see boost in two years time or so, just so I won't have to mess with clutches again. I'm used to sudden small working clutches, my bronzit had a stage 3 clutchnet and it was pretty overkill. Glad yours is working out for you though.

I ran the fx stage 3 on my turbo m50 e30. I beat the crap out of it. Second gear burnouts and tons of hard launches at the drag strip with drag radials. I just pulled it out after 8k and it still doesn't look horrible! :) for the price its worth it. just go with a oem TOB mine chatter like crazy!
