When applying throttle after being completely off throttle and rolling I'll hear a slight thunk coming from the back. I think it's either the diff or the CV joints but are there any other things that could need attention? I'm going to get under there and take a look myself, but just want to know if there's any mounts, bushings etc. that could be causing issues. I have a b25 w/ auto if it helps any.

This could be; loose or missing differential mounting bolts, bad subframe bushings, bad differential mount bushing, bad drive shaft, work differential, or bad half shafts. Those can be diagnosed/eliminated as suspects by inspection. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I just got the same issue sorted..well partially. After changing the sub frame bushings, I would say 80% of the 'clunk' is gone. I can still feel a very slight clunk while loading the car. I am suspecting the U joint on the driveshaft or the diff itself. All the bushings checked out ok while I did the rear subframe
