m30 swap 265 leaks

hey guys... I have an m30 swap and I'm using the transmission with the removable bellhousing. The bitch leaks though out of the seals between the cases. Does BMW sell these seals? I can't find them on realoem.... is it possible to replace them myself or is this the type of work that calls for a qualified transmission shop?

Would it be a horrible idea to just try to smear some rtv on the outside of the seams and hope it works? I'd like to get into some autox but if my shit leaks it won't pass tech!

Are you talking about the oil seals or the paper gaskets that go between the sections of the gearbox housing?

Are there paper gaskets between the housings or is it anaerobic sealant?

I'm pretty sure I can see paper gaskets in there.

I don't have gaskets between mine, ill double check when I get home.

I'm talking transmission. I can't afford to take it in to get refurbed, so I went ahead and cleaned the hell out of the joint of the two cases and slathered a line of rtv on there. Works so far.
