    alright, another problem!

man, i just love it when times are shitty then your car decides to jump on the bandwagon only making times more shittier.

just got back from a 800 mile trip tuesday, the car ran perfect the whole time. yesterday while getting on the freeway, i get into second gear getting close to 4000 rpms (i notice a tad bit of lagging) and as soon as it hits 4000, its all engine sound and no acceleration.

i get on the streets and drive normal, the car feels fine and sounds good but when i try to get past 4000 rpms in any gear, no acceleration, only the sound of high reving.

is there a doctor in the house?

    thanks, matt

HAS to be the clutch. On a manual car, there isn't much else that can cause such behaviour. AFAIK.
