lsd medium or large case?

I've got a 2.93 lsd which I thought was a medium case. It doesn't have the numbers 188 anywhere on it, but it does have 210. If I'm not mistaken 210 designates a large case. It only had six bolts on the side flanges and 8 bolts on the rear cover. Lined everything up and it bolts to the subframe and axles on my 318is.
Reason for asking is I'm selling it and need to confirm what size it is. Thanks.

Large case was not offered in the E30 and there aren't any large case diffs that will fit the E30 subframe. I don't know what that 210 is in that code but it has nothing to do with the ring gear size. That's a medium case.

Thats not actually technically true. The large case 210 diff from the E28 M5/M535i and E24 M6/M635csi will actually bolt right into an E30 subframe. The cover mount is different, but the diff itself bolts straight in without any modification.

However, none of that is the case here though. Most certainly a 188mm crown wheel as above :)
