Driveshaft front half length

I need the front half of my driveshaft to be lengthened about 1/2 for my M30 swap....

1. is it possible to get a driveshaft "lengthened"?

2. Are there any driveshafts out there that will fit my 325 splines that are longer out there? E24/E28 driveshafts for example

You can get a driveshaft lengthened for about $100. My dad knew a guy that said he would do it for $40 but I never did use him.

What length front half do you need. The splines have about an inch of play in them you can use. I used an E28 86 535i driveshaft front on my M30 and it worked out almost perfectly. The front on that was 27.5 inches I think. What length do you need?
