    axle seal

So I crawled under my car the other day and noticed my right side axle seal is leaking at the diff, how hard is it to do the seals on these? would it make more sence to just get a new diff?

Pretty easy... DEFINITELY easier than getting a new diff.

      Nah, it's easy.

      Drain fluid
      Remove axle
Pop out the hub (literally, use a "popping" motion)
Remove 6 bolts that hold in the seal carrier
Replace seal and o-ring (you can get a kit from Pelican, etc)
Might as well put in new lube (with LSD modifiers if you have an LSD)

The seal goes in from the outside so you should be able to replace it without removing the carrier. Might be difficult to get the old sesl out though. Why not go ahead and heli-coil the stripped holes ( they're M8 )?
