do a shifter rebuild, pelican has a rebuild kit for like $110 iirc.

And also it doesn't come with a shift arm, on mine the bushing that the selector rod goes through wears and is not replaceable. You have to buy a new arm.

He would still need to replace all the other bushings but you're right...I would do a short shift kit if I had to replace those other bushings.

Wether they come with or not you still should. Makes shifting that much better and then you don't have to do it twice

This is true.. I don't understand why all don't come with em.. Because some kits have some of the bushings, but not all of them, and some don't have any.
