M3 or 325 transmission?

Hello all

I have an s50 swapped e30 with a vfe s/c kit installed.

Currently I'm running the matching m3 Trans with a 3.23 lsd diff

I find the gearing ridiculous. One the hwy @ 100kmh I'm at roughly 3000rpm.

I have the opportunity to get an e30 325 trans. I've looked at the gearing but not sure if by switching to the 325 trans if my car will turn into a complete dog or if it will take more advantage of the additional s/c power.

I'm only running 5psi

Does anyone have any advice to offer?

I would definitely recommend keeping your ZF trans. Just swap the differential to a 2.93 LSD. Fairly easy to find for around $200-$300. It originally came (most commonly) in the 325eS.
