    Broke Clutch. Again.

So been driving the e30 for daily duties for the last 3 months after getting the the new clutch in (is an eta with dual mass, with a real sachs thin clutch kit.) Shifted into third today, heard a loud bang and then nothing, in any gear. ussually you can at least hear the clutch engage with the pedal and nothing. Haven't looked to deep yet, but has anyone heard of sachs unsprung disk coming apart? The transmissions not even turning, Clutch pedal is fine, and motor runs (which leads me to believe nothing strange happened with the flywheel or slave/master). Any Help would be great!

Picture is from clutch install and is merely for reference*

Is the transmission actually going into gears?

Start it in gear with the brake off and see if it moves, will narrow down the failures.

No movement at all, any gear. Goes into gear, aft clutch is released there is no difference from when it is engaged.

Yup, usually a bang is no good. Let me guess, you were treating her rough.

Yep, Clutch disk came apart. Had to make a call to Sachs today.
