    Transmission Failure?

I'm trying to figure out what happened earlier today, around 3k rpms and in 3rd gear, my rpms quickly dropped to idle. I pushed in the clutch and rolling into a parking lot. I could put it in gear, but as soon as I let it out, the car would act like I put it in way too low of a gear. I also noticed the steering was very difficult to move.
No oil under the car, slow crank.
    Any ideas?

That sounds more like an engine problem than a transmission problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
